I joined this Rock Fusion band with slight jazz overtones playing solo
guitar specifically. Explored many musical ideas and developed extensive guitar improvisation skills and writing two guitar parts, songs and instrumentals.
The band drew upon post 60s influences, the Australian bush, the spirit of the local coastal landscape, Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Manfred Mann and Golden Earring.
The band experimented and made a ritual of recording long performances in open air country landscapes and unorthodox spaces. The band had a cliquey, surfie, hippie following who were looking for an experience. Mick Evans and I both attended Belmont High School. Performed live at hotels, gatherings and festivals.
Discography and Recordings
Extensive recording of original material and rehearsals.
(Audio cassette / archived to DAT & Digital formats)
